He Wants It ALL!

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.’” Matthew 22:37

As we transition into a new year and a new season, I simply want to encourage you to give God your all!  He doesn’t expect us to be perfect nor does He expect us to know it all. He just wants us to trust Him with our lives.  It is He who will help us make all of the necessary changes in our lives. He will shape us and mold us into the person He created and destined us to be. In order for God to do that, we must surrender and relinquish control, recognizing that, “But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; “Isaiah 64:8.

 

Jesus wants us to love Him with our heart, mind and soul. These are the key components of our being.  

 

Many of us say we love God and many do, but so many are loving God with a broken heart, a tormented mind and a wounded soul and as a result, the whole relationship with God is fragmented, thus the struggle and the continued emptiness and lack of fulfillment.

 Many seemed to have compartmentalized God. …only allowing Him access to parts of us… not giving Him all… not believing His word in its entirety! How can we achieve if we don’t believe? We can’t be who He wants us to be by applying half His word to our lives. He can’t renew our mind if we don’t surrender it all to Him? It may be a painful process but He's requiring us to give Him access to those places in our mind, heart and soul that we don't even want to acknowledge are there. We can’t truly transform our minds unless we allow Him entrance into our mind so the torment can stop!! When light enters, darkness must retreat!

 

We can’t truly love unless we learn to do so from the Master. Our souls will continue to be wounded and in despair unless we allow Him “carte blanches” accessibility! He is a healer and He heals without scars!  He is a Deliverer and a Rescuer as your ransom has already been paid with His blood. “He delivers and rescues and He works signs and wonders in Heaven and on Earth” Daniel 6:27.

 

We must surrender our heart totally to Him to truly love Him.

Many have been hurt and as a result, have built a wall around their heart because of those past hurts… know that God can heal broken hearts if we let Him. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”   Please know that it’s impossible for us to even receive from God or for God to even hear us if we harbor hate and unforgiveness.  “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20.  We must to forgive so that we are free to love…really love… like Him!

 

If we truly love Him with our heart, mind and soul certain issues cannot continue to exist in our lives. They should not exist. If we love Jesus, how can they? He's now requiring that we walk at a new level of faith and sold- out belief in Him and to His word. We need to cast down negative thoughts, offenses and anything that tries to exalt itself above that love.

 

Understand saints, He doesn’t want us to go through the motions… He wants our PASSION! He wants your WHOLE HEART, WHOLE MIND and WHOLE SOUL!! ALL of YOU!  He wants it ALL!

After all, He gave HIS ALL! Only when we give Him all of us can we experience true Joy, true Peace and realize our true purpose.

In 2012, let’s be determined be ALL that we can be in Jesus by simply giving Him ALL of us. His word says He wants our soul to prosper by following in the way of the TRUH!  We will not lack anything by giving Him All of us. We won’t miss out on anything! As a matter of fact, we will gain so much more… NOW!  Jesus tells us that we won’t regret giving Him our all, “No one who has sacrificed, (to follow Him and love Him) will lose out. It will all come back multiplied many times over in your lifetime. And then the bonus of eternal life!"  Luke 18:30

Let’s follow THE TRUTH, who is Jesus Christ, loving HIM with heart, mind and soul! I’m convinced by doing that new things will SPRING forth in Jesus’ name!
