Faith for the Touch!
And Jesus said, 'Who touched me?'" Luke 8:45a
God is moved by our faith in Him. As we believe in who He is and ALL
that He is, we can experience wholeness, exhibiting radical faith
which will allow the floodgates of understanding to open, enabling
us to receive more than we could imagine.
"And in that day ye shall ask me
nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the
Father in my name, he will give it you." John 16:23
So many of us are on the outside looking in, living on the outskirts
of "Canaan", the promises of God, totally negating or forgetting
what God has already said. We have allowed our "issues" to keep us
bound, disconnected and spiritually handicapped, believing that they
are incurable; our pasts, insurmountable and our futures, bleak.
Because of our issues, we fail to reap the rewards of what true
freedom in Jesus Christ affords us.
The woman with the issue of blood found in the Gospels was exiled to
live on the outskirts of Galilee. Her issue was one that not only
caused her to be disconnected because she was deemed unclean but
also resulted in her probably thinking and believing she was doomed
to a life of unhappiness, confinement and hopelessness. She was
probably destitute because she'd spent all she had and her issue
hadn't improved but had become worse…physically weakened by her
issue and embarrassed by who she was.
Many of us may not want
to admit it but feel much like the woman with the issue of blood.
Many are of the mindset that they've exhausted all of their efforts
to remedy their issues. On the outside looking in... have tried
everything and still haven't any peace, feeling worse each day as
the suffering, the hurt and the heartache continues... embarrassed
to press in or seek the real answer because we are ashamed of
who we are.
The REAL ANSWER... JESUS!!
He tells us in His word,
"I
am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly." John 10:10a.
Jesus came that we
might live a fulfilling life NOW!
The question
is.... Do you believe Him?
Are you willing
trust Him with your issue and let Him heal, restore and really love
you? Will you exhibit that radical faith like the woman with the
issue of blood and press your way to Jesus, all the while saying to
yourself... "I know I will be healed, delivered, made whole and set
free if I can just touch Him?"
The woman with the
issue
believed that if she could just have an encounter
with Jesus SOMETHING would happen! SOMETHING had to happen!
When will you
arrive at that realization?
She'd tried
everything, just like many of us, but she decided to press her way
through hundreds of people to get to Jesus.
Are you ready to
have an encounter with Jesus? He is waiting for you! He is the
Master Physician, the Ultimate Marriage Counselor, the "Mind
Regulator" and Attorney who has NEVER lost a case? He can do
ANYTHING! There is not one "issue" that is too hard for God!
And Jesus looking upon them saith, 'With men it is impossible, but
not with God: for with God all things are possible.'" Mark 10:27
One encounter, ONE TOUCH will change your life forever for the BEST!
We must have faith and not be intimated by the roadblocks or the
people we must bypass to experience Him. The woman, although ill,
made her way through a crowd of onlookers and probably naysayers. We
too must seek our Redeemer... not caring who sees us or what anyone
says! We must no longer be ashamed but dare to BELIEVE GOD! We must
have the faith to TOUCH Jesus!
The woman with the issue had her encounter with Jesus, and she was
immediately made whole. The bible says that she actually felt in her
body that she was FREE from her suffering! IMMEDIATELY her issue
DRIED UP! She was made free and fully restored!
"He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in
peace, and be whole of thy plague." Mark 5:34
Don't you want to be free and KNOW it!?
The woman had her encounter with Jesus and she was immediately made
whole. The bible says that she actually felt in her body that she
was FREE from her suffering!
Don't you want to be free and KNOW it!?
Our issues should not keep us from Him. We should run to Him,
knowing that when we get in His presence, we will be made whole!
Take heart my sisters and brothers in Christ...
Dare to BELIEVE GOD! Dare to TRUST Him and PRESS ON with FAITH for
His Life Changing TOUCH!!!
